Frequently Asked Questions

How much does your service cost & are their other options?

Our service is absolutely FREE, so there is no credit card required. When the COA request is made online through the US Postal Service™ (USPS®), there is a $1.00 identity validation fee. We are able to bypass this fee by verifying your information with a live agent on the phone. If you don’t feel confortable verifying your information with a live FMA agent or even using your credit card with the USPS®, you can fill out PS Form 3575, print it, and drop it off at or mail it to your local United States Post Office™.

How does make money?

When your FMA agent is verifying your information, they can also assist you with other needs you might have when moving into your new home. Through the agent recommendations of different providers is where we capitalize from the venders. You are more then welcome to verbally opt out of any additional services if you just want to forward your mail.

How do I get started?

Visit our home page at and click the GET STARTED button to complete all required fields to forward your address. You will then receive a 7-digit reference code that you will need to present to the live agent to pull up your information. The live agent will contact you then verify your old and new addresses along with your personal information. When your information has been confirmed, you will receive a final email that you must confirm to complete the process.

What if I don't file a Change of Address?

If you move without filing a Change of Address request, you local mail carrier will gather all your accumulated mail and leave a note letting you know to pick it up at your local US Post Office™ instead of getting forwarded to your new address. Your local Post Office™ will hold any of your accumulated mail for up to 10 calendar days. Every piece of mail that can be sent back will be returned to the sender & the rest of the mail will be discarded.

How's secure is uses an extended validation, 256-bit SSL Protection. We are also PCI compliant which means our systems and business processes are subject to the most stringent security requirements to protect any sensitive data.

Am I able to use this service for my business?

Absolutely, our service is FREE for individuals, families, and businesses. The business must be forwarding from an US address.

What if we have multiple people in a single household?

  • If some members of your household with the same last name are moving with you, but others are staying, you need to fill out a separate Change of Address (COA) for from each person moving, using the “Individual” option.
  • If members of the household with different last name are moving with you, but others are staying, you need to fill out a spate COA form from each person moving using the “Individual” option.
  • If your entire family is moving to the same address and each member has the same last name, you only need to fill out one COA form, using the “family” option.

If I need to speak to an agent, what is the fasted way to get a response?

At it is a paramount importance to us that we are able to answer any questions you might have. We want to keep our phone strictly for verification, so we have added a LIVE CHAT feature on our home page so you can chat directly with an FMA agent during business hours. Our business hours are Monday - Saturday from 8:00AM – 7:00PM Central Standard Time & we are closed on Sundays.
